Dream 1 - In the pram at the toy shop

My first memory was of being in the high pram, outside the toy shop in Shirley, Southampton, standing up with my harness reins clipped to the sides of the pram, and tapping the window of the toyshop to draw attention to the little farm animals I wanted. This must been around 1924. The memory is quite clear with much detail, but recalled as if I was observer standing aside from the scene. Thus it is as if some observing part outside of myself observes me, the child in the pram, the toyshop window, the other people standing around, and the small maiden aunt of our next door neighbour who often took me out.

There are many other such memories, all recalled as seen by an observer of the scene which included myself. It was the observer, part of myself, which recalls the memory and projects it for observation.
